“The Devil fears the Word of God!

“The Devil fears the word of God, He can’t bite it; it breaks his teeth.” – Martin Luther.

Do you desire to live above the cares of this life? Do you desire to walk upon the high places of the earth, prepared by God for you? Do you desire to bask in the wondrous promises of God for you? Do you want to do exploits in your Christian life?  If your answers are yes,  you need to have the knowledge of God’s words, for therein is your success, inheritance, excellence, wisdom and authority.

The problem with most Christians today is that they often cry to God in prayers over what has been freely given unto them, like the gift of righteousness or the dynamic power and anointing of the Holy Spirit to move as gods on earth. Most of the time out of ignorance, we are either trying to be what God has made us to be or struggling in accepting who God says we are.

The worst thing that can ever happen to a child of God is to be ignorant of the will of God(His Word). In fact, God said that clearly in Hosea 4:6

,’my people perishes, because of the lack of knowledge …’.

When you lack the knowledge of who you are in Christ, you live a mediocre life, carried away by the wind of doubt, fear, lack, not recognizing the presence of the Holy Spirit within you as a heir of God! As a child of God, you aren’t trying to be what God says you are, because that’s who you are. All you need to do is to believe it, receive it and walk therein.

You may ask, how is that possible? Well 1 Corinthians 15:10

 (ESV) says that “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain …”  By the same grace we have been made kings and priests by Jesus to reign on earth(Revelation 5:10)  and this grace is the unfailing love of God that unites us with Him through Christ.

Look, the devil will have a hard time pointing his wretched finger against you when you’re fully aware of who you are in the word of God.  I’d like to encourage you by the revelation of God’s Word  to stop living like a mere human being for you have the life of God in you, for the Holy Spirit dwells in you(1 Corinthians 3:16

There’s no condemnation because you belong to Jesus Christ.’(see Romans 8:1)!

We have overcome[defeated, have victory over] the accuser(the devil) of our brethren[you and I], by the blood of the Lamb and by the Word of our testimony’(see Revelation 12:11).

You have been given all authority in heaven and on earth(see Matthew 28:18).

whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be what has been bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be what has been loosed in heaven.“(Matthew 16:19).

You have been given authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you (see Luke 10:19).

Therefore a child of God that is aware of his or her place in the kingdom of God is never disadvantage, rather he or she is ruling the world by the word of God revealed by the Holy Spirit that reveals the deep things of God to His own! No wonder the scripture makes us to know that even though the times may be hard, ” … but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”(Daniel 11:32

The knowledge of the Lord through His word is a  pre-requisite to do exploits even when the world is crumbling down and in the face of difficulties. Our exploits entail every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.(Ephesians 1:3 Ephesians 1:3 English: World English Bible – WEB
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;
) and the power to change situations!

Study the word of God and discover who God says you are. Then speak it, until it becomes your oxygen. Just like we know we can’t live without oxygen. The same way, we can’t live victoriously in this world without the living force of God’s word at work in us, for it’s the only and best nutrition for our spirits. Put the word on and reign by it!
