HELLO DEAR BLOGGERS,
BLISSFUL NEW YEAR. MAY IT BE SADDLED WITH THE REALITY, REVELATION AND POWER OF THE WORD OF GOD IN AND THRU US, AMEN.
It is easy to promise God so and so, but when the promise lands into our possession, it begins to occupy such priority in our heart(sometimes!). However the case may be, God can ask you to sacrifice that long-awaited Isaac to Him. Lemme concentrate on a very known aspect: financial breakthrough.
Initially, it is easier for you to sow the little you have, but when an enormous sum or contract hits your account, what shall ye do? People, at this stage, find it hard to give to God. Listen: if you won’t give to the LORD at His commandment, know that carnality and greed are crept into you. For God to confirm His promise unto you as an oath and – ultimately, an eternal covenant – you must be willing to sacrifice your given Isaac; that which fills your heart with such laughter, you should be openhanded about it to God-wards for He is the Author of such!
Beloved in Christ, don’t hold tightly to any ephemeral paraphernalia, property or resource. The truth of walking with God is that the closer you desire to draw and be with Him, the eternally farther you must be cleaved from the world and its lusts. In fact, He will personally set the tests to proof your desire for Him and Him alone. God seems to rarely make a covenant with His people – in this age – due to their high affinity with and attachment to ephemeral lusts and ambitions in their heart and consequent pursuit.
The fact that one blissful door stormed opened before you doesn’t mean that you will reside therein forever. The life in Christ is from glory to glory. So, God has planned and prepared further doors ahead for you. For every door God unlocks, there are things that must be locked behind in your life for further doors to open before you. Amen?
Every test is to proof that God is our all in all. It takes a heart that holds nothing back from God, to provoke an eternal covenant unto such a man:
Genesis 22:15 -18 says,”15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”;
Psalm 105:7-11 says, ” 7 He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance”. Shalom!
