THE REAL DEFINITION OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD

It’s time to alight from those heightened unfounded revelations and return to basics, people of God. In the innermost chambers of your heart, you so know that those mere confessions aren’t changing a comma of your present state…thus, it’s time to reconsider and be repositioned.

The greatest undoing of believers is living in sin(which is, holiness in their sight but false in God’s eyes) and concomitantly expecting the best from the LORD. What a mentality! The kingdom of God is founded on clear and unwavering eternal principles and only those that align unto such shall eat the good thereof.

Proverbs 16:6 says, ” by MERCY and TRUTH iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil”. How clearer can His Word be…

People of God, the fear of God brings genuine repentance; and genuine repentance means to depart from evil. Genuine repentance comes by, and is as a result of, mercy and truth. Isn’t written, ” let’s therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain MERCY, and find GRACE to help in time of need”? What does that mean?

Genuine repentance and subsequent uprightness is birthed by mercy and grace: mercy forgives and grace gives truth, to help you walk before the LORD(that is, to be separated unto the LORD). John 1:17b says,”…grace and truth came by Jesus Christ”. Praise God. Jesus said, praying unto the Father before His death, “SANCTIFY them through thy truth: THY WORD IS TRUTH. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word” (John 17:17-20).

Thus, grace is received through the Word, which is the truth: “If ye continue in my word, Jesus speaking, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32). However, you have to continue in the Word, before you can experience the freedom in Christ.

So, drop those man-made definitions of grace for they can’t connect you indeed with the Giver of grace! The law doesn’t set free, only the Truth can! The truth is greater than the law(for the Truth made the law!) because it endues a man with divine power to do even beyond the marked and discrete commandments, for Jesus said,” think not that I am become to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to FULFILL. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled”(Matthew 5:17-18). Romans 8:3 declares, “for what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be FULFILLED in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit”.

Thus, the Truth is [in] the Word: righteousness is fulfilled in us by the price paid by Jesus Christ for mankind(that is, the condemnation of sin in the flesh for our sake), even unto as many as receive Him and walk in the Spirit(and according to His Word) – see John 1:12. Seek the truth by the Spirit and ye shall find it(see Proverbs 20:27).

Beloved, it’s written, ” wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word”; “Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Psalm 119:9,11).

…and Jesus said, ” I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, except by me”.
