Ever Seen Worship From This Angle?

Blessed new week, Fam!

God’s presence is indeed everywhere(because He is omnipresent), however not tangibly manifested everywhere. Only His manifest presence causes the supernatural to superimpose on the natural.

There is something about worship that brings in the awareness of God’s presence in a place. For example, when you attend a church service and songs of worship are poured unto God, you could sense His palpable presence. What was the cause? WORSHIP.

Every time God is worshipped in Spirit and in Truth(John 4:24), He manifests Himself. David said that God dwells…lives in the praises of His people(Psalm 22:3). So, God’s habitation any day, anytime is worship…praise!

If God will dwell tangibly in us, we must be truly/sincerely temples of His worship. I made a refreshing discovery on the word “worship”. It is derived from the Old English form, “worth-ship”, meaning worthiness on the part of the one who receives it (definition from J. O. Sanders).

How worthy God is! The more we see Him in His worthiness by the lenses of the Holy Spirit, worship flows. Worship doesn’t end with making melody in our hearts and with our lips unto the LORD, it propels us to loving Him more and, hence, obeying Him.

Is God worthy in your life? Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to God’s worthiness and let God know today that He is indeed worthy in your eyes, both in word and action.

Blissful week ahead!

To be continued by God’s grace.

God Wants You to Call On Him – Have You Done So?

Blessed week ahead, Fam✨✨!

A quick note as we start the week.

In Jeremiah 33:3, God says to you:
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

Please read the following carefully. Discard the victim’s mentality as a child of God!

👉🏻 Hear me: God is more willing to answer than you’re to ask of Him🔥🔥!

God derives no joy in seeing His people – I mean, you and I – wallow in pain, confusion and darkness. That’s why Jesus Christ came in the first place: to destroy the works of the devil(I John 3:8)!

Will you accept His word with child-like faith and call to Him now?
He wants to bring you into things that you have no clue about!
He wants to bring you into new possibilities.
He wants you to see the unseen, hear the unheard, and think the unperceived yet.

📳 Have you called your Heavenly Father yet?

Walking with God: Having the Fear of God

Hello Fam!

I thought to drop this for you to think upon as we approach another weekend. Make sure you invest quality time with God and be refreshed.

The greatest issue between man and God: SIN.

Jesus Christ dealt with it when He died for us on the Cross. Whatever is or carries sin is not worthy of heaven. That is why Jesus became the middle man. He came to redeem us from sin and bring us into the reality of God’s righteousness. This is not a passive matter. This ain’t “once saved, saved forever”.

The problem of the average believer is refusing to work out one’s salvation with fear and trembling, in the very words of the apostle Paul.

True righteousness is not passive and all about confessing. True righteousness begins with an understanding…understanding God and His nature. True righteousness makes you hate iniquity. True righteousness will instill the fear of God in you. True righteousness will quicken you to flee all appearances of evil. True righteousness will fill your heart with God’s concern and agenda. True righteousness will make you a person of humility.

Nonetheless, it begins with having a quick UNDERSTANDING of the fear of God according to Isaiah 11:3-4:

“3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.”

Lets ask the LORD to quicken our hearts to love what He loves and hate what He hates…and fill our heart with His intents and Kingdom agenda. You can’t be a friend of the world and its lusts, and equally claim to be God’s friend according to James 4:4 and I John 2:15-17. Amen!

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FOR YOU…TRUST HIM!

Hello Fam!

As children of God, we have the Holy Spirit, the very promise of the Father. Jesus informed us that the Holy Spirit in and with us will teach us all things and guide us into all truth. He reassured us of His ever-abiding presence in the person of the Holy Spirit. Of a truth, the Holy Spirit is our Advantage, not an advantage.

Why worry when you can link up with the Holy Ghost?

Why be anxious when the very Spirit of prayer and supplications lives in you?

Until you trust in the person of the Holy Spirit, you cannot submit and enjoy His presence and ministry in you. Believe all that Jesus declared about Him! Trust Him. The Holy Spirit is absolutely for you, not against you. Every step He takes is to bring us into God’s will. Hear it again: THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FOR YOU. Amen?

So, when you open your mouth to pray in the Spirit, you can tell the Holy Spirit:

“I trust You, Holy Spirit. Thank You because I know You are for me, moulding me into God’s will. As I pray in the Spirit, I trust You to communicate to the Father the things I know and don’t even know. I trust You!”

Now go ahead and pray in the Spirit, leaning on the Holy Spirit.

“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”(Romans 8:26‭-‬27 NKJV)

Have a blessed week ahead! 😁

LIVE FOR GOD, YOUR ONLY TRUE AUDIENCE!

Hello Fam! 😁

Hope your week started with God’s strength!

Our decisions and actions must be informed by the word of God and the Holy Spirit. Life is actually the sum of one’s thoughts, decisions and actions.

How can we say that we are walking with God as believers…yet our thoughts, decisions and actions blatantly go against His Word and ways?

How can we be comfortable with hidden sin and claim we are walking with God? Where is the spiritual balance?

How can we profess that we are walking in God but we are comfortable in revenge…sexual immorality…masturbation…pornography…anger…unforgiveness…bitterness…malice…pride…jealousy…lies…strife, etc.?

You see, you may appear holy in people’s eyes, but the truth is everyone of us actually lives in the very eyes of God with Whom ABSOLUTELY nothing is hidden from(Hebrews 4:13).

A believer that understands that his/her ONLY audience is GOD will walk in the Spirit and turn down every invite of the works of the flesh. This is the kind that God seeks for, whilst others are forcing themselves to find Him.

Make up your heart that you will live for God and God alone – you will never go wrong with that kind of heart! May the LORD help us, amen.

How to Live Victoriously by the Help of the Holy Spirit

We are still on our “Holy Spirit” series

Every breath of the Holy Spirit is LIFE.

Every breath of the Holy Spirit…every of His direction, word, touch, etc. is life.

When we live by this Breath, we are alive indeed – this is why we pray in the Spirit!

When you pray in the Spirit, you are preparing the pathway for your life.

You are re-arranging circumstances, events, persons, etc. to fall into order according to God’s will for you. Read the last line again please 👈🏻👈🏻. You can chart your course in the place of praying deeply in the Spirit and walk into it physically.

Become a person of the Spirit truly. Nothing happens by chance for the one that is infused with and led by the Holy Spirit.

Incubate yourself in profuse prayers. Get soaked in the Holy Ghost! When you step forth, you’ll drip with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, power and the fear of God (Isaiah 11:1-3). These Godly attributes will be revealed in your thoughts and actions.

Trust the Holy Spirit. You’ll never be stranded. Take some time now and pray in the Spirit!

The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life [which inspires me].” Job 33:4 AMP

ANSWERED PRAYERS AND SEEKING GOD

We are still on our “Holy Spirit Series”

The Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of supplications.
The Holy Spirit is the One that goes into action when we present ourselves wholly in the place of prayer…yes, the Holy Spirit searches out the answer!

Don’t prayer randomly. Pray with focus, attention and concentration in the Spirit. Let your heart be held up by the Spirit as He searches out the answer from God.

Pray with and in the Spirit for He helps our infirmities…He identifies and channels accurately the real issues and requests, and brings to us the mind of God in response.

Take ahold of life by the Holy Spirit.

There is surely hope for the man who can link up with the Holy Spirit – it is not late. Arise and pray. Amen!

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with ALL your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV

The Holy Spirit and You!

Hello Family! Hope you are doing well – it has really been awhile. Nonetheless, I am back by God’s grace. I really want this piece to reach you. I am beginning a series on the Holy Spirit and having a vibrant fellowship with the Holy Spirit. No doubt, you will be edified and blessed by God’s grace. So, stay tuned and glued!

Prayer is the atmosphere of the Holy Spirit. In the place of deep communion in the Spirit, revelation happens. Prayer is the economy by and of the Spirit to draw us into new grounds…new possibilities!

Outside of the Holy Spirit, the supernatural is unreachable. By the Holy Spirit, we come into the mind and wisdom of God. There is more to prayer than you can ever imagine.

Exercise your spirit in prayers in the Spirit. Step into the Holy Spirit and discover a new world of possibilities.

“For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.” I Corinthians 14:2 NKJV

“But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” I Corinthians 2:10 NKJV

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the COMMUNION of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.” II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV(emphasis added)

Think upon this brief piece and I will see you in the next post – have a blessed week ahead!

WHAT ARE YOU ACTUALLY GIVING?

May be a close-up of Mirella Richman

The following verse leaped up to me as I listened to the Bible this morning: “And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.” (Hebrews 7:7 KJV)

Before the above statement was made, it was mentioned how Abraham gave a tenth part of the spoils he and his men got from the won battle to Melchisedek, king of righteousness and peace. Therefore, Melchisedek blessed him(Hebrews 7:1)!

Giving is a spiritual law – Jesus sealed that(Luke 6:38). I am not talking about random giving and similar. Who are you giving to that can fulfil the above statement – “the less is BLESSED of the better”?

This is why paying your tithes is so key – remember, “the less is blessed of the better”. God is that “better” – to help our human understanding. Who is that “better” person, organization, etc. that truly provokes a release of a higher deposit from above on you? Then, give!

Your blessing is in your giving – always remember.

Invoke the blessing over your life through your giving.

Have a blessed day ahead!

DID YOU KNOW YOU ARE AN EMBODIMENT OF MYSTERIES?!

Hello Fam! Hope you are keeping well. This is specially for you!

How wonderful to know by the Spirit of God that there are things hidden away by God beyond the scope of the Devil and his demons!
Paul spoke of the ignorance of the princes of this world in crucifying Christ Jesus and fulfilling God’s sovereign counsel…thinking they were destroying it(I Corinthians 2:8)!

Eyes have not seen…

Ears have not heard…

The human mind is yet to grasp the HIDDEN things that God has prepared for those that love and wait upon Him! These things are hidden away from the devil! They are hidden for our glory. This tells us something powerful! Our lives are shrouded in such deep secrets in God. Don’t allow the devil to distract you from living by the deep things ordained for your glory!

QUESTION: Do we know such things ordained for our glory or they are HIDDEN from us too? It’s time to arise and walk with the Holy Spirit, the Revealer, to see the unseen, hear the unheard, and visualize the unimaginable(I Corinthians 2:9-10)!

Say aloud: “I AM A MYSTERY IN MANIFESTATION. SATAN AND THE WORLD HAVEN’T SEEN ANYTHING YET!”

ACTION PLAN: a genuine prayer life activates a life of glory as a result of accessing the hidden wisdom(hidden/deep things of God). Today, pray in the Holy Ghost and ask the LORD to download the hidden wisdom for the current season of your life. Glory to God!

Most recently, I published a 15-page booklet titled “Called to Worship” – it captures the heart-cry of the Father for true worshippers. Grab a copy from Amazon and be blessed: click here.

FAITH IS A RESPONSE!

This is a time to take your relationship with God most seriously, like never before. Your genuine relationship with God is the place of faith building.

Until you personalize God’s word, you cannot hear God. Remember, faith comes by hearing through the word of God(Romans 10:17).

Allow me by the agency of the Holy Spirit to paint this picture before the eyes of your heart. Imagine the words you were reading off your Bible were spoken directly to you by Jesus Christ sitting right in front of you. Will those words sink deep into your heart?

The reason we don’t hear Him when we read the Word is because we reduce the Word of life to letters and sentences. However, when you position yourself as ones hearing Him speak to us directly, faith is the result.

Therefore, what is faith? Faith is simply conforming your belief and confession based on what you heard God speak to you!

Let’s see Hebrews 13:5-6 KJV: “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

Wow! Do you see it? God SAID…so that we may boldly SAY! Therefore, if you haven’t heard Him indeed, there isn’t true faith. Paul, in fact, wrote: “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also BELIEVE, and therefore SPEAK ;” (2 Corinthians 4:13).

ACTION PLAN: we’re still in January. So, make up your heart to take the ministry of the Word of God very seriously in your life. Eat the Word. Make it personal and see your faith towering and soaring! Remember: faith is the response to having heard God directly.

Alleluia!

BE A MAN/WOMAN OF FAITH!

It takes faith to do God’s will!

It takes faith to walk in divine purpose.

Something else must take over. Men don’t just arise. There was something they saw, took ahold of and AROSE!

Destiny is supernatural, so it takes supernatural enabling to fulfil it! The world is set to be conquered by men and women of faith! God wants to raise a breed of men and women of faith. People that see differently! People that think and speak differently!

Change only happens by men of faith. Men of human sight can’t effect any supernatural change! Arise, be that man/woman of faith!

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”(Hebrews 11:3 KJV)

ACTION PLAN: roar in your spirit till your eyes turn from physical to faith!

Glory to God!

STAY ON YOUR LANE

Blessed 2021!

It is important to journey through this year by staying on one’s lane. Not everything is needful. Luke 10:41-42 says:

41 And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But ONE THING IS NEEDED, and Mary has chosen that good part, WHICH WILL NOT BE TAKEN AWAY FROM HER.”

One thing is needed. Hence, let’s find and dedicate ourselves as God desires of us specifically. You’re not called to be everything. In that thing which God has called you into, SERVE Christ faithfully – therein is your reward. Serve with the heart of expanding the influence of the Kingdom of the Father among men. Serve with the heart to see Jesus glorified in the lives of people. In this Kingdom, servanthood gives a man voice and authority…not mere titles.

ACTION PLAN: there is a specific part God is calling us into action. Pray; “Father, I receive grace to know and serve in the needful You require of me this year in the name of Jesus, amen”. Glory to God!

From me to you – have a blessed 2021!

WHO ARE YOU SERVING: SELF OR JESUS?

The answer to this question is provided by the Holy Spirit in your heart this very moment! This answer marks how we live our lives. How we relate with people. How we go about the Father’s business. When we are serving ourselves, everything we do for the kingdom of God has self attached to it. We must derive some benefit or other from it. We are hurt when our ego is bruised! It’s a clear sign who we are serving: SELF.

More often than ever we need to return to the secret to realign our hearts to serve Jesus, not ourselves. Pledge your allegiance and service to Jesus truly. We need to ask Jesus, “How can I serve You? What more can I do for You?” It will amaze us that sometimes we think we are “doing ministry” when all along we’ve been doing our self-promoting business – Jesus was all along the bait used. LORD, have mercy on us!

Only Jesus knows how better we can serve Him, if we truly want to serve Him. If we truly want to serve Him, we will sincerely ask Him what He demands from us as His servants. Only those that serve Him, not themselves, are called FAITHFUL and WISE. “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” Matthew 24:45‭-‬46 KJV

Only Jesus knows how better we can serve Him, if we truly want to serve Him. If we truly want to serve Him, we will sincerely ask Him what He demands from us as His servants.

2020 is winding up, giving way for 2021. I’ve made up my mind to serve Jesus genuinely, how about you? Join the Chariot now!

ACTION PLAN: the voice of the Spirit of God is certainly audible through today’s teaching. It’s a clear call to return to the secret and submit again to the Master, Jesus Christ. Ask Him truthfully, “How do You want me to serve You? Here I am, send me”. Glory to God!

GIVE HIM THE LITTLE AND WATCH HIM MULTIPLY IT!

Have you ever wanted to pray and just felt you can only mutter some words for five minutes? Perhaps after a long and hectic day, and the bed is really calling your name.

Now, apart from such happenings, the trick of the devil that plays in the human mind is when it’s time for prayer, you want to find every other thing to do, including sleeping. If you live on your natural inclinations, you will never pray heaven-opening prayers!

Let’s learn this wisdom from the little boy that gave his small lunch to Jesus to feed the multitude (Matthew 14:13-21). When Jesus received the few fishes and loaves, He gave thanks, broke them and divine multiplication happened. Practice this:

Tell the Holy Spirit that you can’t pray by your little strength; afterwards, it’s only acceptable to God when done by Him through you. Tell Him that you’re bringing your small strength like the boy aforementioned, thank Him as you offer your limited strength to Him, and ask Him to multiply His strength back to you to pray.

Please share your experience hereafter. Looking forward to hearing from you.

“And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.” Matthew 14:19 KJV

JESUS IS STILL TURNING WATER TO WINE!

Mercy Chinwo sang, “He makes the little I do be like say na big thing o” (pardon the broken English). How true that line is when God steps into the equation of our lives for real!

In John 2, Jesus and His disciples were invited to a wedding and, surprisingly, the wedding wine ran out (you can imagine the panic that set in!). Well, Jesus told the servants to fill the six waterpots with water, and they so did. Then, He instructed them to draw out a cup from the filled jars and give to the wedding governor: the water had turned to wine. What a miracle!

Well, what can we learn? Yielding to those simple and seemingly weird commands given to us by the Lord releases the miraculous power of God in our lives. We are not called to sweat to live supernaturally, rather to obey and manifest His glory. There is always a part to play as a believer and God will never disappoint in His part.

ACTION PLAN: ask the LORD sincerely today: “what do You want me to do?”. The action you take in response to His instruction kicks in His miraculous intervention – there and then, the miraculous happens!

Glory to God!

WALK IN FAITH

It is written the righteous shall live by FAITH (Romans 1:17). Paul went on to explain, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

Faith is not believing in the void, but in and by the substance of the word of God. The evidence that it is a WALK of faith is the corresponding action that follows. Remember James said, “…Faith without works is dead…”(James 2:28). It isn’t truly faith until it quickens you into action of such thing hoped for, though yet unseen (Hebrews 11:1)!

Faith indeed is a force. You don’t exercise faith in the empty space. No! You open up your spirit to the word of God, and allow the Spirit of the word to enter you. Ezekiel said, “And the spirit entered into me as he spoke to me, AND SET ME UPON MY FEET(Ezekiel 2:2).

As your spirit hears keenly the word of the LORD, faith is imparted by spiritual understanding, and gives you quickening and direction on the corresponding action to do.

ACTION PLAN: As we begin this new week, open up to the word of the Lord conscientiously (praying deeply in the Holy Ghost) and let faith arise from within.

Glory to God!

Have a blessed week ahead!

MERCY…THE ACCESS TO GOD’S FAVOUR

Many a times, the connecting bridge between our current state and the next level is God’s mercy. David wrote, “You[LORD] will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come”(Psalms 102:13 NKJV, emphasis added).

Mercy qualifies you for God’s favour. It’s no point living life outside of God’s favour, because it will surely be full of human sweat and struggle. When God’s covering of mercy comes over a person, favour is certain. Take a minute to quickly scan around and in your life: can you pin down areas where your inputs are outweighing the outputs? Then, step back and seek God’s mercy. Blind Bartimaeus cried aloud, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy upon me!” (Luke 18:38).

Your cry for mercy is an act of humbling yourself. You recognize your finite ability as man and His sovereignty as God. You are asking Him to look upon you favourably. “This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles”(Psalms 34:6 KJV). Outside of God’s mercy, the troubles of life abound!

Life isn’t all about man’s endeavour. Striving without God’s approval produces struggle. Contrarily, when you’re covered by His mercy, favour speaks for you.

ACTION PLAN: today, let’s pray as David prayed in Psalm 67:1-2, “God be merciful to us and bless us, And cause His face to shine upon us, that Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations” (Psalms 67:1‭-‬2 NKJV).

Glory to God!

ONLY THE SPIRITUALLY MINDED CAN PLEASE GOD!

How many times did you say to yourself, “this is the last time this mess will ever happen!” and you easily fall for the same sin again?

Most times, the lack of power in living for Christ is because of trying to obey the word of God with a CARNAL mind. Remember, Paul said the carnal mind cannot be submitted to and cannot please God (Romans 8:8). So, no matter the effort, it will return to zero!

Hear this: the law of God is spiritual. Everything He commanded even in the law of Moses was spiritual. Therefore, it takes a spiritually minded person to please God. Flesh cannot and will never please God! Paul said in Romans 7:14, “For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin”.

Today, that sin that looks undefeatable to you can be conquered when there is a shift from being carnally to spiritually minded. How is that done? Lay totally open before the Holy Spirit. Like a child, ask Him to lead you into the mind of Christ.

Remember, only the spiritually minded can please God.

ACTION PLAN: there is hope for you. You won’t die in that weakness of sin. Turn to the Holy Spirit…ask Him to teach you and renew your mind by the word of God. Watch out for a testimony. Alleluia!

Have a blessed week ahead!

Am I a true Christian?

When asked, “what is Christianity?”. What is actually the first thing that pops up in your mind?

We are fast to think that being a Christian is merely believing and confessing Jesus as Lord and Saviour, and cruising in the Holy Ghost with no hitch of pain or trial. That’s a modified version of Christianity, and such doesn’t carry the very power of God.
To be a Christian means to be Christ-like. What is Christ like? He is everything contrary to the natural flow of things.
For example, it’s very very natural to revenge, but it is Christ-like to forgive. It is so natural to wish evil to those that hurt you, but the true Christian prays for the good of those that hurt him/her.
Jesus said in Matthew 5:43-44 NKJV:
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,”

Have we attained to the fullness of Jesus Christ from the above verses?

If we fail in being true Christians, we have already failed in doing ministry. The goal of doing ministry is to reveal the nature of Christ to the ungodly, and lead them to Jesus.

Let’s not be fast to think God is slow concerning His promises. Pause for a moment and think within yourself, how Christ-like have I truly been? Lay bare yourself before the Holy Ghost!

The word of God becomes truly applicable when we are truly ready to walk in the steps of our master Jesus Christ. Till then, we will be very selective in the Scriptures we read: avoiding the things we perceive as “burdensome”, and laying idly on the sweet promises!
The power of God’s word flows when we are absolutely committed to following His steps.

Love is the code of the new creation in Christ Jesus, not pride coated with praying in tongues. Let love have its full hold and constrain on us. Until Jesus is seen, there is no true power!

>>>> Today, let’s rededicate ourselves to God as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable, which is our reasonable act of worship (Romans 12:1).

Speak life!

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit”

(Proverbs 18:21).

Learn to speak the Word of God. Who is the Word? Jesus Christ, by Whom all things were created, and without Him nothing created could be created! So, He is the vital Force that brings about creation of both seen and unseen. Hebrews 11:3 says, “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

When you speak the Word, you are putting into action the vital or creative Force of the Godhead.

The prayer of faith is not repeating your current situation. Rather, it’s taking the relevant word of God over that situation and confessing accordingly. Faith is for things unseen, not things seen (facts). Faith is reserved for superimposing supernatural effect on that situation. You are declaring the expected end over that situation.

Jesus said in Mark 11:24 NKJV,
“So Jesus answered and said to them,
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Jesus didn’t say, “whatsoever thing you are facing, when you pray”, but “whatsoever thing you DESIRE [over that thing that’s confronting you], when you pray...“!

If we are confessing physical facts, that is not faith, rather that is death…fear…that is murmuring!

In the previous verses (verse 22 and 23), Jesus said, “Have faith in God.
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

So, confess the refined word of God with no doubt in your heart, as Jesus instructed in Mark 11:23. Remember, “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”, as Paul declared in Romans 10:10. Keep confessing the Word of God. Keep calling the desired realities according to the word of God; they will come!

Have Word sessions! Confess the word of God over yourself, your life, your spirit, your soul, your body, your destiny, your family, the works of your hands, etc. Confess the word of faith, which is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (Romans 10:8).

It is well with us in the name of Jesus, amen!

Engaging God in the place of prayer

Hello Guys!

Today, I will drop some lines that will certainly encourage and provide directions to us. May God give us understanding of His word in the name of Jesus, amen.

I want to enlighten us on the power of engaging God in prayer. You see, prayer is living! Your spirit intermingling with the Spirit of God. Prayer is the place of refining, God washing off the dross in our heart, and also releasing His breath into our entire being. When I say “breath”, I mean His life…His thoughts (what we can call ideas). You see, a major function of prayer is to condition our heart to pick up the signals of the Father’s heart and walk accordingly. This lifestyle outweighs a life that solely depends on dreams during the night (don’t get me wrong: God delivers prophetic dreams to us at night).

So, when you pray, your spirit becomes sensitive to God, in that instant, don’t take lightly the things that God is dropping in your heart. We need to understand that, although spirit beings in essence, we have a physical dwelling called the body, which we need to make touch with the seen world. Funny enough, prayer is not committing mental suicide. Prayer reveals and brings to us the mind of God, and upon the mind of God arriving to our human mind, breaks God’s voice into action tasks (what we can call “faith”).

Don’t pray aimlessly. Every time you pray in the Holy Ghost, whether about a matter or just communing with God, His voice travels from your spirit to your mind (which we tag as “ideas”). What are we doing with the ideas? Sometimes, we ignorantly tell God, “I have been praying to You about this thing, and You haven’t answered!”, however, due to the lack of sensitivity to pick up what He deposited in your spirit in return to your prayer, we stay idle, waiting aimlessly!

So, when you come to the place of prayer, open your heart to take note of what God is dropping in your heart. Every thought obviously should be judged according to the Word of God.

It is also a good practice to have a notepad and a pen with you during your time of prayer. As you pray, God’s light shines so bright upon your spirit, that your understanding is enlightened to new possibilities; you touch His realities, which present themselves as thoughts or ideas in layman language. Write them down and take the needed steps. Until you move based on the given breath of God to you, nothing will change. Move in the direction God has given you – that is faith in action – then you will enter new dimensions of life.

It is well with us in the name of Jesus, amen!

Blessed 2020!

What makes things new is not a new year or a new month per se. Rather, it is the sincerity of the believer to mean thorough business in his/her relationship with God. Be desperate enough to press into God’s heart! We don’t find God casually. No, He is found by a man that stirs himself to see the Lord. He can be found…if we are desperately and genuinely seeking Him.

Yes, seeking Him for His ways and on His terms and conditions. The common mistake we make is to think that we can deceive God: our hearts are not set on Him; our raw reason for “seeking” Him is to accomplish our self-made plans and ambitions!

Seeking Him and finding Him takes place when we are unsatisfied with every other thing and know that in Him only is all we need!

You see, we become terrified to venture into the nakeding presence of God because of what we think we can “loose”. However, if we mean genuine business with Him…if indeed we are prompt to hear His voice, He will speak!

Beloved, let us lay low before our Father in heaven, in genuine sincerity and by the Holy Ghost!

What does it profit us if we achieve our personal agendas and fail gallantly according to the divine scroll of the Most High for our lives?

There’s surely a standard that God has for us! Until we are desperately ready for His standards, we will be satisfied with beggarly ephemeral pleasures.

Think upon Jeremiah 29:13:
"And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."
Painting by Ilse Kleyn (I love prophetic art!)

Blessings,

Live by God’s word!

Don’t live your life based on what satisfies your fleshly ambitions or for glittering opportunities. Rather, live by hearing God.

If you live based on the appearance of things, you’ll be led into destruction unwittingly.

That a profession, a country, a marital proposal or whatever is promising or trending does not mean you should have it! Live by the word of God. Live by the voice of God. Live by hearing the Father!

When you live by the voice of the Lord, you are not disappointed even in the face of events that naturally-minded folks see as pitiable. When you learn to live by the voice of God, you recognize God as your only source; hence, you are never perturbed by the turning of events in the natural realm. Rather, you are concerned with what the Father is speaking and obeying His voice.

Remember, every other thing will fade and pass away, but the word of God abides forever. Therefore, a man that lives by hearing God doesn’t fade into insignificance.

It is written that the righteous shall live by faith! Faith is taking God by His word and following it through.

Let’s pray: “Father, giving me hearing heart and ears in the name of Jesus”

Oh LORD, break me!

Good morning, Beloved!

Defining moments come from God’s dealings with us to conform us into the image of Christ. Let’s not flee from God’s chastening! He needs to break selfishness, greed, pride, comparison syndrome, anger, lust, etc. away from our heart.

The experience that changed Jacob’s life definitely to become a man blessed of God indeed, was the divine encounter of wrestling with an angel of the Lord (Genesis 32). His importunity hinged on his restless desire to experience the promised blessing. He has toiled for many years and became significant. Yet, he knew that he wasn’t walking in the blessing!

How many of us are serving God and yet our records with Him are based on struggle rather than surrendering to His divine dealings to bring us to the place of divine rest?

Jacob cried to the angel of the LORD, “I won’t let you go unless you bless me!” This was a desperate plea to God that, “either You change me or You change me”! No two ways. In course of replying him, God broke his thigh and then changed his name to Israel. These two tremendous things happened and activated God’s blessing upon him.

God is seeking to break the backbone of self and pride in our lives. Can we allow God to prevail over all the works of the flesh in us that are keeping His promises latent rather than in manifestation?

Oh LORD, break me!

The only way to prevail with God is by being resolute that I won’t give up until you break me and the promise is activated over my life!

Let’s cry unto the Lord today: “Lord, break me that Your blessedness will be made manifest in my life unto Your glory alone!” .

Let your deep call unto the Father’s deep!

Hello dear sisters in Christ,
Hope you are soaring on God’s wings today!

You know what? God desires true intimacy with you…not a religious strangled obligation. David, a man after God’s heart, revealed a precious secret by declaring: “Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and billows have gone over me.” (Psalm 42:7).

Wow! True communion cannot take place between you and the Father until your deep meets with His deep. There is a pure cry that emerges ONLY from your deep that attracts the Father’s deep. You may be puzzled about what the whole “deep” story mean?

Deep signifies the eternal you revived by the Holy Spirit, your innermost and real being in Christ. You have such depths in your spirit that Jesus declared, “out of your belly shall flow rivers of living waters.” So, that closeness you have always desired with God is found in unlocking the depths of your spirit to His Spirit! Release that cry from your deep! That is where true spiritual transactions take place with Abba. That is where your love for Him grows and become ever rooted.

You cannot work effectively for Him, until you have walked with Him by your deep calling unto His deep. There are fountains locked up within you that need to be broken open for the glorious influx of God’s tangible presence with you. When your deep calls to His deep, He pours Himself lavishly on you and you become lost in His overwhelming Presence.

Alleluia!

Action for the day: be still before the Father and let your deep attract His deep by worshiping Him with your whole being. He is waiting for you.

P.S. You can use this song to soak in His presence: “There is a Place” (Dr Paul Enenche) – https://youtu.be/WhWZ0bmuWrA

Shalom,

Are you truly walking with God?

Good day beloved sisters in Christ,

Hope your cup is running over! The LORD is ever good and His sure mercies endure forever.

A word on the go for you: are truly walking with God?

You may ask, “What does walking with God actually mean?” It means walking in the light, as He is in the light.

God is light!

John wrote, “6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Walking with God means dwelling under the pure and true light of God. The light shines upon our hearts and exposes every sin…every work of darkness. Don’t justify any evil way. Don’t harden your heart when the Holy Spirit convicts you of something wrong. Don’t run away from the searchlight of God, if you really desire to walk with Him. God expects us to respond to Him by admitting what He is pointing His finger at and quickly repenting of such. That is where the blood of Jesus can cleanse that sins. The sin that we acknowledge and confess to the Father comes under the cleansing power of the precious blood of Jesus.

Don’t be weighed down by condemnation; rather, humble yourself before the LORD, repent of the wrong, and receive His mercy. Then, keep walking with Him by faith moment by moment.

Action for the day: allow the Holy Spirit to search out every sin and darkness within you, acknowledge that such has displeased God, confess those sins and, then, the blood of Jesus shall cleanse off such.

Shalom,

Mirella

Let the word of God become your very eyes!

Good morning beautiful sisters in Christ,

Hope the week so far has been productive.

A word for you today: make your mind a prohibited zone for the devil! Let the word of God become your sight. Let it become your vision. Many ladies are quick to cringe when the devil comes in with thoughts of fear, death, sickness, failure…name it. This is because the sight they bear is based on a carnal mind, fed by the lies of the devil, not based on an enlightened vision of understanding by the LORD.

Let the eye of your mind become single on the word of God, so that this Light will invade your entire being. Treasure and feast on the Word of God until God’s word becomes more real than the natural, no supernatural manifestation can occur. Let His word become your very eyes!

Confess this day:

“the word of God is my eyes. I see by His word. I think, confess and judge by His word alone!”

Have a blessed day ahead!

Much love,

Mirella

Setting healthy boundaries in your dealings with the opposite gender – a letter to my dear Sister in Christ

The reason why I am continuing this series is because, I recognize that young Christian ladies lack grass-root mentorship. Although spiritual, they can be wrecked due to being naive in certain things., especially relationships Thus, I want to be that bridge for these ones.
Before proceeding, the summary of what I previously said is, to walk in genuine holiness and righteousness, you have to be wisely conscious of your relations with brothers. Do not allow more than the necessary with any person that is not your husband yet.

In the present writing, I will explain further why you have to desist from boundary-less communications.
Listen up, dear sister, whatever way your relationship is going on with a brother in Christ, that you call a “friend” is determined by the communication line.
Do you remember the words of Jesus,

“the words that I speak to you, they are spirit and life” (John 6:63).

Jesus gave us powerful revelation: that is, words are spirit. So, every time you engage in deep and illicit discussions with that brother, you are welcoming the spirit of lust and sexual immorality in your heart!

Let me be legit: why is it that you giggle all by yourself, under your bed-cover, when you receive those messages from that brother? (“My sweet sister, how are you doing? I have not seen your beautiful face.”)
Let me give you the unbiased reply: the words you read took ahold of your heart, they entered you! Imagine keeping such line of talk for the next three months, you will slowly but surely have an emotional tie with that brother. This relationship thing is a talk thing o! The more you allow a brother to speak to your heart, he will surely define your emotions towards him. Do not act unwise.
When you now see that brother with sister Mercy, you turn grey out of jealousy. You start acting as though you are his wife unconsciously! You become a watchwoman over his whereabouts…as in, you observe the way he talks with sister A, the way he jokes with sister P! Can you see the cobweb of the devil in all these things? You end up being jealous and controlling, for something that should not bother you in the first place. Break that emotional tie!
I repeat, words are spirit. Put a definite stop to the extent a brother who is not your husband can speak to you. Do not be receiver of a brother’s spirituality-coated lust! What should drive a man close to you and will keep him in a healthy rapport with you is you having genuine fear of the LORD. If you practice living in the presence of God, you will control your spiritual arena. You will learn to exercise a sanctified mind, so that you can host God’s presence unreservedly. Don’t bring down you spiritual guard. Surround yourself in such a way that when a brother brings that spirituality-coated lust, he is convicted and gives himself brains for next time!
If you want to break from the shackles of emotional ties, be intentional and wise in your relations with brothers. Unnecessary emotional ties can delay God’s plan for you martially.
Action plan: take out time, deep this word in, and take the necessary steps. You know that brother you have to stop talking to at such deep and intimate levels…stand your ground! Break that emotional tie in the name of Jesus! Strive to walk in true holiness and righteousness.

God bless you!
